NAFSCE's Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
The coronavirus pandemic has changed our way of life for an indefinite period of time. Families, educators, and other practitioners across the country are struggling with how to adjust to this new reality and what it means for children. When it comes to education during these challenging circumstances, families need access to information and learning ideas, ways to understand the information, and ways to take action on it.
NAFSCE is providing the following opportunities for our field to learn from and collaborate with each other:
Complimentary NAFSCE Membership:
To support the family engagement field during this critical time, NAFSCE is opening access to its member resources for all family engagement professionals, parents, advocates, and policymakers now through July 1, 2020. Working together, we can find new ways to engage and serve the families and students that rely on us. We hope you'll take advantage of NAFSCE's resources, including our online community, Member Connect, to share resources and ideas, learn from other's progress, and gain support from your colleagues and peers.
Resources and Services Repository:
NAFSCE has assembled a collection of learning resources, free or reduced cost services, and information sources related to engaging families and transforming how we do our work in the coming weeks. This list will be updated regularly. If you know of a resource or service that is not listed, please email Alice Clark at firstname.lastname@example.org.
