Virtual ParentCamp Mini-Experience

ParentCamp is a hybrid “un-conference” opportunity for parents, educators and community members to come together and discuss what is best for kids. The experience levels the playing field, putting all stakeholders in a circle for actual, face-to-face (or virtual) discussion. In this virtual ParentCamp mini-experience, you’ll learn tips and tricks on how to virtually and meaningfully engage with families using the ParentCamp model. You’ll even get hands-on experience with the interactive format

As humans, one of our biggest needs is to connect with others. Everything needed to create a bright future for our kids is already within us when we connect. However, there are two big problems you are facing right now that are probably keeping you up at night because you want what’s best for kids and your community:

  1. The COVID19 crisis, causing parents, students, families, teachers, staff and community to operate from states of fear, anxiety and worry.
  2. The Traditional Model of Family Engagement. We call it the Compliance Model. You never chose it, you inherited it. We all inherited it. And it doesn’t work.

You have a choice starting now! You can bring people together all year long to connect, strengthen and collaborate in a format where people feel seen, heard and valued and leave wanting to come back for more because their levels of serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins are raised.

What is the new model called? Virtual ParentCamp (VPC) Family School Community Integration Model (FSCI). Parent Camp is thrilled to partner with NAFSCE and invite you in to experience and learn about the VPC FSCI Model through a Mini Virtual ParentCamp experience.
