The US Department of Education has awarded eleven organizations the first Statewide Family Engagement Center (SFEC) grants. In total, $10 million was appropriated for these grants, and $9.7 million was disseminated to grantees. The remaining $200,000 is being utilized for technical assistance and $100,000 being utilized for administration within the Department. The announcement can be viewed here.Read the announcement
