Community of Practice (CoP) for Members to Launch February 2016

We are excited to announce our first Members-only participation opportunity! In February 2016, we will launch a Community of Practice (CoP) exclusively for NAFSCE Members. The CoP will offer a valuable peer-to-peer learning opportunity and help Members identify promising practices and address challenges as they advance their family engagement work. The CoP will center on the Dual Capacity-Building Framework for Family–School Partnerships and will specifically focus on “linked to learning” opportunity conditions.

The CoP will meet virtually four times between February and May, 2016, from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm eastern time, on the first Tuesday of each month. NAFSCE Board Member Sally Wade will facilitate the CoP sessions, but the discussion truly belongs to the CoP participants. We will utilize a virtual meeting space and a conference call line, which will allow CoP Members to share with each other

If you’ve never participated in a CoP before, give it a try! While we encourage CoP Members to actively participate in discussions and information sharing, your level of participation is entirely up to you. We hope you will join us in making this exclusive Members benefit a success!

If you are interested in being part of the CoP, please fill out this form and we will follow up with more details. Space is limited.
